FAQ

Ordering

How do I order a 3D printed part?
If you have a 3D file, upload it, pick material, color and quantity, and you'll see the price and ship date right away. If you don't have a file, describe your part and we'll design it.

What file types do you accept?
STL, 3MF or OBJ for an instant price. Have a STEP file? Email it to onepieceprints@gmail.com and we'll quote it the same day. See how to prepare a file.

Is there a minimum order?
No. One part is fine.

Speed

How fast will I get my part?
Upload by 2 PM Pacific and most small orders ship the next business day. Bigger runs get a firm ship date with the quote. Need it guaranteed? Choose a UPS Next Day Air option at checkout: the $20 rush fee moves your order to the front of the print queue and it ships overnight. Orders of $25 and up can take Free Economy instead, made within 7 business days. See shipping and turnaround.

Can you deliver it today?
Within 20 miles of our shop, yes. ASAP local delivery is $70: we print your part first and bring it to you as soon as it's made, any hour.

Where do you ship?
Anywhere in the United States, plus international by USPS or DHL. Pickup in Olalla, WA is free, and we deliver around Kitsap County and Gig Harbor.

Price

How much does 3D printing cost?
Most small parts cost a few dollars to about $30. A palm-sized PLA part is $11.01. See real prices.

Are there tooling or setup fees?
No tooling costs, and no setup fee on uploaded files. Design work for parts without a file is quoted up front.

Why are you less expensive than big online print sites?
Our printers run through the night and you buy straight from the shop that makes your part, with no marketplace in the middle. For one-off parts and small runs that usually means a lower price.

Parts and materials

What materials do you print?
PLA, PETG, TPU and ASA. Compare them on the materials page.

Can you copy a broken part?
Usually, yes. Send the part or clear photos with measurements. See replacement parts.

How accurate are the parts?
Plan on about plus or minus 0.2 mm on most features. Read designing parts that fit.

What if the part isn't right?
Tell us and we'll fix it. We'd rather reprint a part than have you work around one that doesn't fit.

About us

Where are your parts made?
In our shop in Olalla, Washington. Nothing is outsourced. Most of the filament we print with is imported, so we call our parts printed in the USA.
