Terms of service
Last updated: October 26, 2026
These terms are the agreement between you and OnePiecePrints ("we", "us", "our"), a 3D printing and manufacturing shop in Olalla, Washington. They apply when you use onepieceprints.com, our ordering and design pages, or buy anything from us. Our Refund policy, Shipping policy and Privacy policy are part of these terms. If you do not agree, please do not order.
The short version: everything is made to order, so check your file, sizes and choices before you pay. You must have the right to print what you send us. We stand behind our workmanship; if we get it wrong, we reprint it or refund you. Our liability is limited to what you paid for the order.
1. Who can order
You must be at least 18, or the age of majority where you live, and able to make a binding contract. If you order for a company, you confirm that you may bind that company to these terms, and "you" means the company too. We sell to businesses and to individuals. You may resell or use the parts we make for you in your own products.
2. Quotes, prices and orders
- Minimum prices. Where an ordering page has a minimum price, it is shown before you pay.
- Instant quotes. Prices on our ordering pages are worked out from your file or the sizes you enter. The price you see at checkout is the price you pay. If a quote was clearly wrong because of a system error, we tell you before we print and you can accept the corrected price or get a full refund.
- Accepting an order. Your order is an offer to buy. It is accepted when we start making it. We may decline any order before then and refund it in full. We may hold an order for review (for example an order shipping to a parcel forwarder) and ask you for more information first.
- Taxes. Prices do not include sales tax, shipping, or any customs duties. We collect Washington sales tax and other taxes where the law requires.
- Payment. Payment is taken in full at checkout through Shopify. Nothing is made before it is paid.
- Business pricing. Business account discounts, invoices and standing orders are offered at our discretion and can change for future orders.
3. Made to order
Almost everything we sell is printed after you order it, to your file, your sizes or your design. Because of that, we cannot take an order back because you changed your mind, ordered the wrong size, or chose the wrong material or color. Please check everything before you pay. Cancellations and refunds are covered in our Refund policy.
4. Files and designs you send us
- Your rights. When you upload a file, photo, drawing or logo, or describe a part, you confirm that you own it or have permission to have it made, and that making it does not infringe anyone's patent, copyright, trademark, design or other rights. Do not send us other people's logos, characters, brands or designs unless you have the right to use them. When an order includes a logo or brand, we may ask you to confirm that you have permission; your answer is recorded with the order.
- What you allow us to do. You give us permission to store, copy, repair, convert, slice and print your files, and to show them to you, only as needed to quote, make, ship and support your orders and to let you reorder them. We do not sell your files, give them to other customers, or make your part for anyone else.
- We do not check rights. We do not check whether you have the right to print what you send. That responsibility is yours.
- Your responsibility for claims. You agree to defend us and cover our losses, including reasonable lawyer's fees, if someone makes a claim against us because of a file, design, logo or instruction you gave us, or because of how you use a part we made for you.
- Rights complaints. If you believe an item made by us infringes your rights, email onepieceprints@gmail.com with the details. We stop making the item while we look into it.
- Your file is your responsibility. We print the file as sent, at 1:1 scale in millimeters unless you tell us otherwise. Wrong units, missing parts, walls too thin to print, or a design that does not work are not defects of our printing. If we spot a problem before printing, we contact you.
5. Parts we design for you
When you use "Describe your part", the parts catalog, or ask us to design something:
- Design fee. Design work is priced and paid before it starts. The design fee pays for the design work itself; printing the part is a separate purchase. The design chat shows how many changes are included and the price of any extra changes.
- Preview and approval. You see a preview before anything is printed. Check sizes, holes, text and fit. Once you approve the preview, that design is final, and a print that matches the approved design is not a defect.
- Tools we use. We may use software, including AI tools, to help make designs. A person at OnePiecePrints stands behind every design we sell.
- Who owns what. You keep all rights in the ideas, logos and material you gave us. We keep the design files and models we create, and you get the parts made from them and the right to reorder them from us. If you want the design file for your custom part, ask us and we will send it to you. We will not sell parts made from your custom design to anyone else.
- Catalog parts. In the parts catalog you set the sizes yourself. Measure carefully: we make the part to the sizes you enter. Our fit promise for catalog parts is in the Refund policy.
6. What 3D printed parts are like
- Accuracy. Plan on about plus or minus 0.2 mm on most features. Large parts, thin walls, tall parts, holes, overhangs and some engineering materials can vary more. Tighter tolerances apply only if we agree to them in writing for your order.
- Surface. Printed parts show fine layer lines, small marks where supports were removed, and small differences between parts. These are normal and are not defects.
- Color. Colors on screens and in photos differ from real plastic, and color can vary a little between batches and brands of filament. Multi-color prints can show slight color blending where colors meet. If you choose "Your pick", we choose the color.
- Strength. A printed part is weaker across its layers than along them. Material figures on our site come from the manufacturer's data sheets for test bars and are a guide, not a promise of how your part will perform.
- Choosing materials. If we suggest or pick a material, we do it in good faith from what you tell us about the part. You are responsible for testing the part in its real use before you rely on it.
7. Items we do not make
We may refuse or cancel any order, with a full refund, if it is for:
- firearms, firearm parts or accessories of any kind (including receivers, frames, suppressors and magazines), or any other weapon or weapon part;
- anything illegal to make, own or ship, or meant to help break the law (for example copies of keys you are not authorized to copy, or fake IDs or badges);
- items that infringe someone else's rights, counterfeits, or other people's logos and characters without permission;
- parts that people's safety depends on: anything that holds a person's weight, climbing, lifting or fall-protection gear, vehicle safety and brake parts, medical devices, child-safety items, or parts that must meet a medical, aviation or military certification;
- anything we consider offensive, hateful or harmful.
We make no food-safe, medical or child-safe claims for any item unless we say so in writing for that item.
8. Shipping, delivery and risk
Ship dates and delivery options are explained in our Shipping policy. Ship dates are our best estimate from our real print queue. Carrier delivery times are the carrier's estimates and are not guaranteed. We are not responsible for losses caused by a late delivery, but we do replace or refund a lost package as the Shipping policy says.
9. Our promise and its limits
We promise that what we ship is free from defects in our printing and workmanship and matches the file, sizes or design you ordered or approved, within the accuracy described above. If it does not, we reprint it or refund you as described in our Refund policy. That is your remedy for a defective item.
EXCEPT FOR THAT PROMISE, AND TO THE FULLEST EXTENT THE LAW ALLOWS, OUR PRODUCTS AND SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS". WE DISCLAIM ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT PROMISE THAT A PART IS SUITABLE FOR YOUR PARTICULAR USE UNLESS WE AGREE TO THAT IN WRITING.
10. Limit of our liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT THE LAW ALLOWS:
- OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ABOUT AN ORDER IS LIMITED TO THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US FOR THAT ORDER.
- WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOST PROFITS, LOST PRODUCTION, DOWNTIME, DAMAGE TO OTHER EQUIPMENT, OR THE COST OF SUBSTITUTE PARTS, EVEN IF WE WERE TOLD THEY WERE POSSIBLE.
- WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR HARM CAUSED BY A PART USED IN A WAY THESE TERMS SAY NOT TO, USED BEYOND ITS MATERIAL'S LIMITS, OR CHANGED AFTER WE SHIPPED IT.
Some places do not allow some of these limits. Nothing in these terms takes away rights you have under law that cannot be waived.
11. Accounts and our websites
- You sign in to your OnePiecePrints account with a one-time code sent to your email. Keep access to your email safe; you are responsible for orders placed from your account.
- If you add teammates to a company account, they can see and reorder the company's shared models and orders. A teammate only joins after they sign in and accept.
- Standing orders. If you set up a standing order, we email you a bill on the schedule you chose. Nothing is made until that bill is paid, and an unpaid bill is not followed by a second one. You can change or stop a standing order at any time before its next bill.
- Do not misuse our sites: no attempts to get around security, overload our systems, scrape them, or upload harmful files. We may suspend an account that does.
- Saved designs and files are kept as described in our Privacy policy. Keep your own copy of any file that matters to you.
12. Disputes and governing law
If something goes wrong, email us first at onepieceprints@gmail.com and give us 30 days to put it right. Most problems are solved this way.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any lawsuit about these terms or an order must be brought in the state or federal courts for Kitsap County, Washington, and you and we agree to those courts' jurisdiction. Either of us may still use small claims court where the claim qualifies.
13. Other terms
- Things outside our control. We are not responsible for delays caused by events we cannot reasonably control, such as power or internet outages, severe weather, carrier problems or material shortages. If a delay is long, you may cancel the parts we have not started and get a refund for them.
- Shopify. Our store runs on Shopify. Your purchase is made with OnePiecePrints, not Shopify, and Shopify is not responsible for our products.
- Whole agreement. These terms and the policies they link to are the whole agreement between us about your order, unless we agree to something else in writing (for example a signed quote for a production run). If one part of these terms cannot be enforced, the rest still applies. If we do not enforce a term right away, we can still enforce it later.
- Changes. We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. The terms in force when you placed an order apply to that order.
