Yes, you can get a costume piece made from a photo. Send pictures of what you want, a few measurements, and answer some quick questions. We design it, show you a preview, and print it once you approve.
What works well
- Badges, emblems and buckles
- Armor accents, bracers and shoulder pieces
- Prop parts: hilts, gadgets, handheld devices
- Masks and helmet details, sized to your head
- Jewelry-style pieces and costume clasps
We make original designs or pieces inspired by a look you describe. We don't reproduce trademarked logos or copyrighted character designs, so bring your own design or let us create an original.
How to order
- Gather photos. Front and side views of the look you want, plus a photo of where it goes on the costume.
- Measure. Head circumference for masks, wrist for bracers, the width of a belt for a buckle.
- Describe it in our order chat. Design my part walks you through the questions.
- Approve the preview and price. Nothing prints until you say so.
Materials and finishing
Rigid pieces print in PLA or PETG and take paint well after a light sanding and primer. Flexible straps and edges print in TPU, which bends with you instead of cracking. See which plastic to choose.
How much time to leave
Custom design takes longer than printing an existing file, so start a week or two before your event. Once the design is approved, most small pieces ship the next business day. Local to Kitsap? Pickup in Olalla is free and skips shipping time.
