Night Shift is how OnePiecePrints runs small orders. You upload a 3D file by 2 PM Pacific. We check it, slice it and start it that evening. The printers run through the night, and in the morning we pull the parts, check them and ship. Most small orders leave the next business day.

What happens to your part
- Before 2 PM Pacific: you upload. STL, 3MF or STEP. The order page shows your price and ship date before you pay.
- Afternoon: we check the file. Wall thickness, orientation, supports and fit. If something looks off, we call or email before printing, not after.
- Evening: it goes on a printer. Parts are grouped by material and color so each machine runs a full plate.
- Overnight: the printers run. Most small parts take 1 to 6 hours, so they're done well before morning.
- Morning: pull, check, pack. Supports come off, each part gets a quick look and a measurement on anything that has to fit.
- Next business day: it ships. Or it's ready for free pickup in Olalla.
What fits the overnight window
- Single parts and small runs that print in one night
- PLA, PETG, TPU and ASA in colors we stock
- Uploaded files that are ready to print
What takes longer
- Design work. If we're modeling the part from a photo or a broken original, add the design time. We quote it up front.
- Big parts and big runs. Anything that needs more than one night of machine time shows a later ship date on the order page before you pay.
- Resin, special colors or special materials. These can add a day.
- Weekends and holidays. Ship dates count business days.
Why overnight works
A printer that sits idle all night is wasted capacity. We run ours through the night, and you buy straight from the shop that makes the part, with no marketplace in the middle. That's how we can ship most small orders the next business day and still come in below the big online print sites on one-off parts. See real prices and a side-by-side comparison.
